The inspiration behind Croga is simple: Combine yoga with Croatian music to bring the Croatian community together for an uplifting, shared experience.


This class will offer an opportunity to gently wake up your body, center your mind, and feel energized and ready to get the most out of the day ahead - all set to a Croatian beat!

Kolo kardio uses a combination of traditional Croatian folk dance steps and techniques to enjoy a full body cardiovascular workout. Without focusing on choreography, the endless variety of steps from both Croatia and its diaspora can be used to get your heart rate pumping and create a fun atmosphere for weight loss, strength, coordination, and balance all while learning about the Croatian culture. Guaranteed to boost your mood and provide camaraderie amongst the participants. The Croatian version of a bhangra or Zumba class.

Ever wonder why Cleveland is the Rock & Roll capital of the world? Radio disc jockey, Alan Freed, coined the term in the 50s in Cleveland. Mystery solved!

We Like to Party

We all know Croatians like a good party! We’ve set up some after-dark fun in cool places in downtown Cleveland. We look forward to seeing you ALL there!


Friday, Sept. 20

After the gala, the party doesn’t stop. Join us for an ACAP party at a swank location in downtown Cleveland when the gala ends.




Saturday, Sept. 21

Let’s get loud! ACAP will have our own private section and bartender. Look for the Croatian flags and join the party at The Ivy.

Closing time: As the song says – You don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here. 


Just before The Ivy closes, we’ll leave for a super-secret after-hours location close by to continue the night. We’ll have a full bar, food and DJ – the party will continue into the wee hours of the morning.


Make sure to see an ACAP Cleveland board member for the location and a wristband – you must have a wristband for entrance into the after party.
